The hilltop from which Moses is said to have gazed upon the Promised Land before his death, Mt Nebo holds the beautifully preserved Moses Memorial Church with its superb 6th-century floor mosaics. On a clear day the panoramic view encompasses the Dead Sea, Jericho, the Jordan Valley and the spires of Jerusalem.
